Introduction

VoiceEnhancer provides online voice enhancement and noise removal for audio and video at voiceenhancer.co. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who processes it, and the choices you have when you use our website and services.

Information We Collect

Account and contact information

When you register for an account, we collect your email address and account preferences. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email address associated with your Google account. We also collect messages and support requests you send us.

Uploaded files and processing results

You provide audio or video files for processing, and we handle the resulting processed files and related task records. For video, the audio track is extracted, processed and combined with the video again. Files may be processed on your device or by processing service providers we use.

Usage and transaction data

We automatically collect information about your interaction with the website, including your IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, processing status, error information and referral information associated with your visit or registration. We may also receive transaction metadata related to your purchases. Waffo handles billing and payment details as merchant of record; we do not store your full payment card details.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to support sign-in, remember language preferences, associate visits with referral links and measure website use with Google Analytics as described below.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some features, including those that depend on keeping you signed in, may not work properly if you block the cookies they need.

We also use self-hosted analytics with first-party cookies solely to count visits and identify invalid traffic, never for ads; you can refuse this in Cookie settings.

With your analytics cookie choice, we record the website or campaign link you first arrived from, the landing page path and visit time in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days, and associate this information with your account and orders to understand acquisition channels, not for advertising; it is not sent to third parties, and you can refuse or withdraw this recording in Cookie settings.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure visits, registrations, processing tasks, checkouts and completed purchases, and to improve VoiceEnhancer. Analytics runs on public pages when available.

For visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we obtain consent before enabling analytics cookies and the associated analytics collection.

Google may receive pseudonymous browser and session identifiers, page paths, referral and campaign information, device information, and business events such as processing status, product identifiers, transaction references, amounts and currency. Purchase events come from confirmed server records and are deduplicated by order. We do not send your email, name, uploaded content, private file links, passwords or card details as analytics event data. We do not enable advertising personalization.

Analytics cookies last up to 180 days; our session-link cookie lasts 30 minutes. We keep server-side delivery context for up to 30 days; minimal delivery status remains to prevent duplicates. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google may process data outside your country under its Privacy Policy and information for users of partner sites.

We use Google signals for aggregated demographic and interest reporting. For eligible users signed in to Google who have enabled Ads Personalization and consented to the association, Google may associate activity on this site with Google account information. We receive aggregate reports, not individual Google account profiles. You can manage and delete this associated data in Google My Activity.

How We Use Your Information

We process your information to:

  • Deliver, operate and improve our voice enhancement and noise removal service.
  • Process your files and make the results available to you.
  • Provide account support and technical assistance.
  • Communicate service updates and important notices.
  • Handle purchases through Waffo, our merchant of record.
  • Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your files. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We use account access controls and restricted storage access to help protect your data. Access to personal information is limited to authorized purposes.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee protection against every threat.

Data Retention

Uploaded files and processing results are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Download any results you want to keep before they are deleted, and keep your own copy of the original files.

Account data is retained until you delete your account. After account deletion, associated personal data is securely removed or anonymized within 30 days, except for records we must retain to meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback or audit obligations. Those records are kept only for as long as needed for those purposes. Analytics cookies and delivery records have the separate retention periods described in the Google Analytics 4 section.

Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your region, you may have the following rights:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Request an export of your personal data.
  • Object to certain processing or opt out of marketing uses.

Third-Party Services

We use service providers for the following functions:

  • Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and file storage.
  • Google sign-in provides account authentication and supplies your name and email address when you choose that sign-in method.
  • Google Analytics measures website use as described above.
  • Waffo is the merchant of record. It handles payments, issues invoices and handles chargebacks, receiving the billing and payment information needed to complete purchases.
  • Files may be processed on your device or by processing service providers we use. These providers receive uploaded files, processing settings and related metadata as needed to process your files and return results.

These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy practices. You can read the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy for more information about those services.

Children's Privacy

VoiceEnhancer is not intended for users under 18. You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it. Please contact us if you believe a minor has provided personal information to us.

International Data Transfers

As we operate globally, your information may be stored or processed outside your country of residence. We ensure all transfers comply with GDPR and other applicable data protection standards.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in laws or our business practices. Any updates will be posted on this page. Significant changes may also be communicated via email or account notification.
